The Control of Asbestos Regulations Northern Ireland 2012 will significantly increase the degree of responsibility assumed by employers and property owners (or their managers and advisors) by the way of managing asbestos in buildings. Under these regulations it will now be mandatory that a detailed register and management plan within property portfolios.
